In August 1993, Dave organised a three-week cycle-camping trip from Bilbao on the Atlantic coast of Spain half way across the Pyrenees with John and Bret. John and Dave cycled overnight to Portsmouth for the ferry to Bilbao and Bret flew in from Munich.
