In the following May 1992, Dave organised a two-week cycle-camping trip in the southern French Alps with Bret, John, Martin and Chris, who came for the first week, although he though he was going to the Pyrenees. We flew to Nice and cycled north through the Mercantour and returned through the Canyon de Verdon.
